Registry Ceremonies
My services for a Registry Marriage Ceremony are regulated by the Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages and guided by Celebrants Aotearoa. Please note:
Registry Marriage Ceremonies are short, simple, and time-efficient for all involved. There is no prior meeting between the celebrant and couple.
​A fixed ceremony script with standard legal marriage vows is used (no variation is permitted).

Commitment Ceremonies
A Commitment Ceremony is designed for couples who wish to celebrate their relationship and commitment to each other, without entering into a legal marriage or civil partnership. The ceremony gives you the opportunity to exchange rings and make promises to each other. If you are already married legally in another country this is also a good option if you wish to celebrate in New Zealand with family and friends.

A vow renewal ceremony is an opportunity to reaffirm your love in a ceremonial setting, to renew your commitment to each other and perhaps include children, grandchildren or commemorate a special milestone. It’s something many couples find strengthens their relationship.
Civil Union
Civil unions in New Zealand refer to a legal relationship status that provides recognition for couples, regardless of gender. A civil union in New Zealand grants couples many of the same legal rights, benefits, and responsibilities as marriage.

Naming Ceremony
Tailored to the family's preferences, a naming ceremony is a celebration event where a child is given their name and welcomed into the family and wider community.
Naming ceremonies are a way for whanau to express their love and commitment to their child and to involve friends and family in the child's life. These ceremonies can be personalised and may include speeches, readings, music, and rituals that are meaningful to the family.
